Jovie is a Licensed Financial Planner with Coreplus Advisory Sdn Bhd. She is a
Registered Financial Planner (RFP) and an Islamic Financial Planner (IFP). She holds a
Bachelor of Business, majoring in Accounting and Finance. Currently, she is also a
Certified Results Coach, Australia.
Prior to joining Coreplus Advisory Sdn Bhd, Jovie gained over 15 years of experience in the financial services as an external and internal auditor for listed and multinational corporations (MNCs). Her last position in corporate was as Head of Internal Audit.
With her vast experience in corporate, strong finance and risk management
knowledge, Jovie has passionately and confidently helped her clients to meet their
financial objectives and life goals. Her good analytical skill enables her to guide her
clients in making budgetary, savings, retirement and investment decisions.
As a Financial and Life Coach, she believes that the value of managing money goes
beyond the number. She recognizes the importance of financial and life coaching in
helping individuals achieve their financial goals and lead fulfilling lives. She believes
that personal finance is deeply rooted in a person’s emotion and behaviour.
Jovie believes that financial literacy is important. She has been actively being invited
to share financial literacy talk as a financial coach and speaker. She has done
numerous physical and online talks to local corporates, MNCs, NGOs and universities.
Jovie is passionate in youth development and believes in youth empowerment. She
has been actively involved in a non-government organization (NGO) for many years.
She was 2019 President of Junior Chamber International Petaling Jaya and is
currently a JCI Senator for the NGO.
